I installed a new 160 gig hard drive a few days ago. I am possibly the most amazing at computer hardware installation (except for those new USB ports that won't work for shit...) My main and formerly only drive was 15 gigs. Yeah, that's pretty effing sad. I've spent the weekend ripping all of my cds (in between my numberous naps, because that's just how I roll). There are other things that I can have an abundance of now as well. You know, unsavory things. Adult cinema, if you will. I am in the slow process of upgrading my computer that was bought in 2000 (ancient, I know). Next up is new RAM, followed by a faster CD drive. It takes me about 800 years to rip one CD. And that's just not something I'm fond of.
Oh my god, I am watching Remember the Titans and that really fat guy is singing and I can't deal. Oh look, that super racist guy is fed up with all this race mixin'. MONKEYS!
So can I just say that I watched 4 movies in a row today? How freakin sad. The Notebook, which wasn't as horrible as I thought, but Ryan Gosling freaks me out just a bit... he's all Murder by Numbers in my mind. Then there was New York Minute. Yes, I actually watched it. It was not what one would call a good movie. Cheaper by the Dozen came on right after that, and how could I NOT watch? And now Remember the Titans. Oh how I love overcoming society's demons to rise above and triumph! Ronnie "Sunshine" Bass just used his hippie Tai Chi on the football field. How can you not love this movie?
